Oh Gelli! Hard to stop once you start!

I got so enthusiastic for using stamp pads to color my fall envelopes I put the class on pause to get supplies out! The stamps hadn’t been used for about 8 years but I got ink! I made a 4x6 space with washi tape on the pad which is 8x10 so I’d know where to put the ink for that size envelope. I got good prints, but I really pressed and rolled a clean brayer over the spot. They still looks like they needed more contrast, so I stamped a few right from the stamp pad which fortunately is leafy-looking. Finished the class and will do acrylic and try the corrugated look later.

You can see inks I used below in next photo.

The 4x6 inch box I made to confine the envelopes. Didn’t work a well with the acrylic paints as with the stamp pads.

I liked the crosshatch and tried one with just lines. Liked both. Really liked the circles made from the inside of an empty washi roll. I tried to texture with plastic netting. No luck with that. I may pretty that one up with a couple stencils of autumn leaves.
