Octavia is certainly a stylish owl and seems excited to get in the water with one wing raised high, wide expressive eyes, and holding her polka-dot floatie! One thing I would suggest with the wing holding the floatie is to change the shape. The top of the wing looks good as it mimics the angle of her body and folds down, but I will adjust the shape at the bottom to resemble more feathers. Fold your hand down look at the shape of your fingers - that is more the look you want with the feathers - including the downward pencil strokes so that the eye follows that movement. It will give more of the appearance of a wing - like the wing that is raised. I hope that makes sense. She is a lovely owl character and I appreciate that you shared her with all of us.  Happy Sketching!

Octavia is a barn owl. She has never been to the beach and she is a bit apprehensive but she is excited. She has her hat, her sunglasses and her rubber ring. She has also been joined by some mini beach friends.
