Negative space shape cards with Chris Carter, part 1

My first try: The "rotondes" in my home city Luxembourg. They were built in the 19th century for the storage of steam locomotives. Today they are a cultural center.

I enjoyed looking through my photo collections and searching for good negative space. The 2 first ones were done on cheap mixed media paper. For the 3rd one I used Fabriano cold pressed paper and the experience was so much more joyful. I would have liked to add another wash on the bottom part, but couldn't remember what color mixture I had used.

2nd project: My peperomia was a tiny plantlet in a plant arrangment when I got it. It amazes me by the speed at which it continues to grow. It reminds me of Jack and the beanstalk.

3rd project: Some rooftops in my neighborhood

I thoroughly enjoyed this class! I could work in small bursts of time that fitted in my busy schedule and felt excited to experiment with my images, colors, brushes and papers. Thank you so much Chris for inspiring me with this interesting class. My first try with your pulling the puddle method!
