Learning how to nature journal in watercolor.

I purchased a few watercolor sketchbooks and have been nervous about starting one and possibly “making mistakes.” I was so nervous, that I started out with a practice entry on a watercolor pad, instead of going directly in my sketchbook.

 

After watching this class a second time, I felt a little more comfortable actually making an entry into my still new sketchbook. Although it may not be perfect, I think it turned out pretty good, and I know I learned a lot.

 

I’m looking forward to continuing with my nature journal. I know the practice is what I need, and that is exactly what my sketchbook is for. I am looking forward to seeing my improvement in skills and confidence after taking this class.
