My plan for 3 creative projects in 2022

Hello everyone.

Here are the worksheets I filled out while making this class for you.
I recreated the planning I made for myself for the year 2022, in order to show the process (and the final results) from a real case study.

First of all, I wrote down all the (messy) project ideas I had in mind.
Some of them are more defined than others.
For instance, my introduction video for Patreon is very straightforward, I know exactly what the content of it will be.
On the other hand, when I write "Animated Sticker", I only know that I would like to explore that fun format for social media, but I have no idea what the stickers will be about.

Overall, this messy list makes me understand that I want to use my free time to have fun, and explore new techniques, while also engaging with meaningful topics (such as sustainability) which are dear to me.

These are the three projects I chose, and the effort estimation for each of them:
A series of animated stickers, a set of 2 illustrated notepads, and an illustrated cookbook (that then was resized into recipe cards).

Here are my priorities and non-negotiables.
I don't have kids or pets. The only being I am responsible for is myself, and a bunch of houseplants :)
So my priorities are there mainly to try to maintain a healthy life while creating.

Calendar plan:

I defined I could work on my side project one day and a half a week.

Here is the general yearly plan I made to fit my 3 projects.
You don't have to work on side projects all year long!
Maybe you'll dedicate your summer to side projects, or the holidays throughout the year.
In my case, as a freelance artist, I try to keep balance between client commissions and personal creations.

Motivation worksheets:

I share here the motivation worksheet for the cookbook project, because that one was the most challenging one for me, spreading across many months, and requiring for sure the largest amount of motivation to keep going.

A letter to myself:
It's good sometimes to hear from our past-self.
It reminds us what were our purposes when we started the project.

The social commitment gives me a lot of motivation to keep going and publish updates on my projects.
I so this mainly through my Patreon, but also with my newsletter and social media.

And finally: CELEBRATION
a pleasant step I don't want to skip.

I will take the day off, go for a stroll in the woods, before I sit down and start the planning all over again for 2023. :)
