I am relatively happy with this one. I followed the steps, added some of my own touches. The composition and the contrast could be better but overall I like it. 

I don't really like the second one. I tried to paint it on my own with the advice from the class but I feel like it did not come together at all. The light, the shapes, it feels very weird overall. I am not used to this looser style and changing the colors etc. So as always, it probably is about the practice and patience. 

But I think the class is very helpful for anyone because the principles described apply universally to any style and any subject.
