My ilustrated recipe

My ilustrated recipe - student project

This is one of my favorite dishes from my region in Brazil, it's called Moqueca and it's delicious.  I'll soon share it on my Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/aquarelle.enfance/.

I usually do not like online courses, but I loved this class, I loved the way Jessie shared her tips. It was more like a creative challenge than a formal lesson to me, so I really enjoyed doing it. Thank you, Jessie, I loved all your other classes too. Being a new mom and also living in Paris, I think I connected a bunch with all these ideas you shared.

I've managed to finish all the video lessons. Here are my other illustrations, as well as the correction of the first one (based on the comments kindly posted by Jessie, suggesting to darken the bottom of the objects to show some gravity).TMy ilustrated recipe - image 1 - student project

This one is my spot illustration (I imagined an article about Brazilian food or coffee):

I was not fully convinced so I tried out another sketch:

My drink and a mix of other illustrations:

This one is my still-life experiment (I'm aware it needs to be improved). Since I'm in France, far from my favorite foods, I drew it out from an online photo.

Finally I tried out another recipee:

I was very happy with this challenge. Excited to hearing from you, other classmates!
