My friend only has coffee for breakfast, and if he has it at a coffee place, I get his biscuits. He really loves his mocha pot, so I wanted to include that in the picture. He also has a rather old-fashion table cloth, so I wanted to include something gingham-y. He's quite chaotic and keeps a lot of items on his table, insisting that there always be flowers on his table. I do think that the overall composition and textures are quite busy, but I couldn't do him the injustice of removing the flowers, and I think the chaos is quit typical for him. Would love to have been able to create more depth in the image, but everytime I tired, it sort of came out wrong. I should also challenge myself next time to have a starker contrast and to allow for more playfulness in my lines.
