My first indoor garden

I am happy to share the progress on my little family of plants, a few weeks after completing this class. Because I live in a big city in an apartment with no access to a private courtyard or wild patches of green, there is hardly any garden soil that I can collect and mix with my store-bought products, but I closely monitor drainage and humidity to ensure the plants are as happy as they can be. I took up the habit of rescuing supermarket plants, those that appear to be in dire need of better care; sometimes their health is already too poor to make a recovery (RIP peppermint 😥), but the four I currently have are thriving despite the insane heatwaves that travel across Europe these days, and I'm very happy to have learned to take care of them and figure out their needs! It's been a while since I took the pictures attached, the banana has been repotted into a larger terracotta pot and everyone is growing new leaves and flower buds.
