My color study inspired by this class and your other one on colors and patterns

This is actually a combination of 2 of your classes, I hope it's ok to post here. With acrylic paint, I started making a color wheel and then mixing all my yellows. Then I looked through my collection of alcohol markers which ones were matching the paint swatches. Even though I have about 20 markers with the name yellow in it, only 4 were actual yellows in comparison to my swatches. (such a great exercise to see the color tones in a swatch!) With those 4 I tried to make patterns. I made a couple of combinations with the same (simple) pattern to see the difference in effect and then a couple in which I tried to make them look nice. This was quite a challenge as these are not my favorite colors! But I learned a lot! I am really enjoying this and I hope to finish this exercise for the other colors as well. Thank you for your inspiring classes!
