My Worst Focus Attempt (the Inner Critic Series)
This project is part of my class Win Back your Creative Confidence.
While I was recording this first class in the Inner Critic Series, I wanted to share my tip for getting the focus right when filming alone.
Then ironically, this happened. It was as if my Inner Critic was sabotaging me on purpose. (I'll share it below anyway.)
My Inner Critic Mrs Scared was laughing her head off. Especially since I recorded myself like this for half an hour. I was a tad pissed at first, but then I had to laugh as well. It's so refreshing not to take oneself so seriously.
My Best Cup Painting
And this is one of the best projects I did on Skillshare. It is part of a fun class by Yasmina Creates.
Mrs Scared loved this too. (Not.)
"How can you say this is your best? It's not even that good."
"If this is your best, your worst must be lethal."
She's so funny in her commentary, isn't she? But it didn't really bother me too much because I really liked making it, by simply following Yasmina's instructions. And I loved working with the gold paint too.
(And here's the tip for getting the focus right when filming alone. Particularly helpful when using a smartphone or a camera with slow auto-focus.)
