I haven't done much in the way of drawing recently and I wanted to experiment around. I haven't painted, drawn humanoid characters or done anything horror-related much. That being said, I took some inspiration from WW2 gas masks for the face and I'm pretty proud of it. Originally I imagined some sort of continuously repairing skin over the mouth that the creature had to tear open to eat from, but couldn't figure out how to render the closed version well enough. I loved Ben's explanation of contrasting strength and pain, so I drew from that.
