Thanks to this class project I really started to think about why and what I've ended up drawing mostly nowadays.

I watched old school cartoons and read tons of comics as a kid, but I was also very interested in nature and all kind of animals and critters.

Fortunately my parents were also interested in the game things, so there were allways various kind of comics to read on the house, they took me also to see lots of movies. Also, we lived next to the library so there was allways something to investigate and read.

I also drew a lot - my mom put a pencil on my hand as soon as I could sit properly, and I've been drawing ever since (some breaks because of work and family life, of course). 

All in all, it's not surprising that I mostly like to draw funny and whimsical animals.
