My Daily Brew with an Auto Drip Coffee Maker
After completing Tom Plets’ Beans, Brewers, and Black Coffee class, I decided to apply what I learned using my own auto drip coffee machine.
I focused on adjusting the grind size and coffee-to-water ratio to get a smoother cup. Following the tips from the class, I started using medium grind coffee and let the water fully saturate the grounds before dripping through.
The difference was huge — my coffee now tastes cleaner, more balanced, and less bitter. ☕
I realized how much even a small change in grind or timing can affect flavor, and now my mornings feel like a little coffee ritual instead of just caffeine.
