I started with a sketch.

 

I dove in with a first layer of yellow watercolor paint.

 

Looking often at my image, I painted the details one layer at a time, working in the color, shape and shadow along the way.

 

I added detail to create texture and reflection.

 

Then I added finishing touches like dark micron contrasts and the logo.

 

All finished!!
