Mt. St. Helens - Fabric Collection
Mt. St. Helens blew up in 1980, and by the time I moved to the Pacific Northwest, the wildflower fields were just starting to recover. The blast zone is immense and astonishing, and to follow its recovery is fascinating. This collection is meant to be a tribute to all who have to start all over again, from the smallest ants and ballooning spiders to the vibrant wildflowers coating the hills.
The hero pattern is my Wildflowers one, and I include 3 coordinates: 2 florals (1 tossed, 1 striped), and a bug/ogee pattern. I could make blenders all day long, but the stripes reminded me of all those felled trees, and the dots and speckles, of all the ash (but in brighter, more hopeful colors).

Now, for the hardest part of all: company research, and pitching. I just feel like hiding in a corner! *lol*
Thanks for all the marvelous tips, Nina!! You have encouraged me more than you know! ♥
