I enjoyed these little moons!  It was fun to find a natural element (sesame seeds) to experiment.  I also liked the effect of trying sea salt flakes instead of the salt I’ve tried before.  I have added gold leaf to several watercolor projects and it works well with the rusty moon, too.  Daniel Smith’s Moonglow pigment was fun to play with and seemed to be a good fit for these little guys.
