I had a really great time sketching all my little potion bottles. I drew four!

I used a combination of both tools to create my bottles. The mermaid hair would have been a nightmare for me to do with the pen tool, so I whipped it out with the pencil tool. That raven on the other hand just had too many specific corners and lines, so I took my time with the pen tool to get it just right. Here they are vectorized:

After composing them and playing with color, I made some final tweaks (got rid of the Dream Potion label backing, changed the Raven's Cure bottle top, etc), and here they are:

I ended up liking the Moon Dust bottle so much that I brought it into Photoshop by itself and added in some yummy texture (wanna know how? Check out "Painting" in my Pattern Play course, or "Coloring" and "Texture"  in my Digitizing Hand Drawn Sketches course)
