Really enjoyed going over the basics! Here are my first magazine spreads that I based on the photos I took in Japan. 

The full page spread was especially fun to work on. I love how it looks so symmetrical with the crease going right down the highest point of the castle. 

 

 

 

I wanted to really experiment with spacing by using lots of white space. Doing so, I found that it's much easier to leave the white space on the outside rather than towards the middle. I also wanted to play around with alignment and avoid lining up everything vertically. I hope I was successful in creating a dynamic and interesting composition.
