Original sketch on a post-it note

I scanned my sketch and imported it into illustrator.

I converted the letterforms into shapes by drawing them with the pen tool. When I was happy with the overall composition I exported the image to photoshop and added textures and colours to both the letters and background.

After looking at some pictures of an actual whale I realised that I needed to make some adjustments to the dorsal fin. I also adjusted the contrast of the image.

I'm still not happy with this and have moved the dorsal fin back. I know I'm being a bit picky :)

Made more of the White Whale theme as suggested and tightened up spacing.
