Mixed Media Tea Cup Party ! - student project

Tea cups are a wonderful way to practice, experiment and play without having the impression to "exercise" your skills :)

And they're soooooo relaxing to make. You don't have to think and worry about what to sketch !

1. In this first tea cup I used Forest Green and Undersea Green for the cup, shadow in grey (Ultramarine Blue and Transparent orange, the birds are in Lascaux Gouache paint and the details in black Caran D'Ache pencil and I made also some turquoise splashes

2. In the second cup I used Caran D'Ache wax crayons, grey shadow, Undersea green for the leaves, and golden drawing ink by Rohrer & Klinger and Transparent Pyrrol Orange watercolor paint and some golden Acryl Gouache

3. in the third cup I used watercolor pencils, wax crayons, watercolor (Cerulean Blue, Indigo blue, shadow grey and Raw umber) and color pencils by Faber Castell and Caran d'Ache and the blender pencil

Mixed Media Tea Cup Party ! - image 3 - student project4. In the 4th cup I used wax crayons, watercolor pencils, Undersea Green and Cerulean Blue and Shadow Grey (Ultramarine Blue & Transparent Orange mix) watercolor paint,  and Color Pencils

5. In the 5th cup I used watercolor, Acrylics (Oregon Blue by "Matisse"), Caran D'Ache wax crayons and watercolor pencils, grey shadow, and golden drawing ink by Rohrer & Klinger and and some golden Acryl Gouache with a bubble wrap to make a texture

6. In the 6th cup I used watercolor, watercolor pencils by Caran D'Ache and color pencils by Faber Castell and by Caran D'Ache and Acrylic Gouache for the flowers.
