Mindful Journaling
I already do a lot of journaling, both at home and at work. I make use of pocket journals, like little Field Notes notebooks, for quick ideas and thoughts. If I want to expand on those ideas and thoughts, I'll bring them into a commonplace book. I also use commonplace books for quotes and passages from other prose so that I can ruminate on them a bit or rewrite them in my own words to better process and retain that information or knowledge. But all of these books and journals are very surface level, mostly to improve my memory, knowledge, and mastery of various topics, and I have no issue with anyone picking them up and reading through them.
I don't use them to dive into anything too mindful, anything that would serve my mental well-being well. So I decided to purchase a Galen Leather cover, filled with a Cosmo air light journal, much like Robert. I had been wanting some Galen Leather products for a while, this was just a wonderful excuse to finally do so. This journal will be filled with the more mindful and private thoughts I'd love to dive into with Robert's framework in mind. I don't have anything specific just yet.
