I have small condo and no spare rooms so this is old computer desk i use. I have lots of supplies as being a novice when I started during Covid I just bought everything (and still do). I try all kinds of things but might be better at w/c.

I store supplies in the two drawer cabinets and under desk. I tried to store by like art supplies but still spend time searching for things. 

 

One day I will check each draw and write on paper or small book what is stored each place as I dont want to label externally. This is in my living room.

My biggest problem i have in following along classes is the desktop space as I put my laptop next to my board with paper. Sometimes I put laptop on small side table. Neither one is great solution. I am not an iPad user. I do have small tablet but prefer larger screen.

Another issue is the lighting. This light is great as is like daylight but hard to get good angle sometimes even though flexible ,it cast a shadow sometimes.

 

So that is it. Truth be told i used to paint more frequently when i used my dining room table but it was too chaotic and messy. I still use occasionally for drawing.

 

Oh yeah..i also had to store some less used supplies in hall closet and i also have accumulated a number of art books which are in an unseen bookcase.

Any suggestions to motivate me more?

I am just a hobby person not using art for a career. It is a great thing to keep my mind active in retirement. There is just so much to learn and I knew nothing before about art stuff!  I don't know what i would have done if I had not joined Skillshare. I love it.
