I'm very new to watercolors. I choose to do a mermaid for this assignment as well. My three-year-old daughter believes she is a mermaid. My mermaid is sitting on the bank of a forest with her snail friend. She is awaiting the arrival of other friends to join in on the celebration. I used watercolor and pen. I have always been a doodler, so this was fun to add some doodling into my watercolor. This was a really fun assignment!
