In figuring out what project to create for Sophia's class, I figured there was nothing better than something I need to tell myself approximately 892038490234 times per day: your anxiety is lying to you.

Choosing colors wasn't too hard - I wanted it to be bright and cheerful, and I really wanted to try the blend tool Sophia showed us. But I also wanted it to feel a little chaotic, and I went with a less subtle, wrinkled texture and a pattern inspired by 80's-style Memphis patterns to lean into that vibe.
