Selecting and creating images as an artist is sometimes a task that needs patience and a critical eye.

Take a look at how I went about 'walking my talk'.

Here is my first image for the class thumbnail

Now I like RED but my favourite is Blue so I went with that next.

It was fine but the mountains had nothing to do with the class and the design was awkward. It was readable as far as the lettering.

Liking the blue, and the yellow was warm, which is always a Good Color habit next to blue, I decided to tweek this one and came up with the one below.

I figured it was the one as it appealed to my color preferences. It was fine until I saw it on different platforms, It was not bold and clear when it started showing up as a thumbnail for the class and it faired even worse on social media such a tube. I got chilled looking it.

That poor guy in the right corner must be freezing!

So back to work and walking my talk from the class," Keep your winter themes on the warm side..."

Warm enough?

Clear enough?
