This was a lot of fun! I liked the puzzling, creative, "art is anywhere and anything we make it energy" that this project brought to me. I was able to repurpse a pricing estimate paper for a wedding coordination service, which would have gone straight into the recycling before, but now is a whole found poem. Which to me, was inspiring and made me want to edit and adjust the poem--with punctuation and added words, etc.--all of which are also stil possibilities in the creative pursuit. It also made me appreciate the limitlessness of prose in comparison to the constraints of reused media. What a fun exercise! It gave me another idea for a fun poetry workshop, too. Because if two people were given the same starting source, their found poems would still turn out differently, just based on what words and ideas stood out to the poet--which is a great exploration of the uniqueness of perspective and  expressivity, especially in the world of poetry.
