Thank you, Nadine! I am so glad I found you early in my painting career before I had the chance to build up my fiddling muscles ;). Your classes made me aware of the importance of clean brush strokes and influenced my painting style. It was enough to watch the first minutes of the Blue Jay tutorial to be mesmerized. This one is just as outstanding.

I used a sword brush for the tail feathers (finally I had a use of it)...I am quite happy with the effect except for the upper parts, I guess I need more practice :). I didn't fix the parts I wasn't happy with, I wasn't sure whether that would be a good idea with these vibrant colours.
