This project is a full production of a "Marseille Type Beat," a cinematic drill instrumental inspired by French urban music culture, blending emotional orchestral textures with hard-hitting 808s and streetwise rhythmic patterns. The beat evokes a gritty yet soulful atmosphere, reflecting the artistic spirit of Marseille—France’s multicultural port city known for its raw energy, resilience, and vibrant hip-hop scene.

In this project, I cover the full beat-making process including:

• Sound Selection: Choosing orchestral and ethnic samples to match the Marseille aesthetic.

• Melody Composition: Layering moody strings and haunting vocal chops to build emotional depth.

• Drum Programming: Crafting bouncy, aggressive drill drums with a clean mix and punchy 808s.

• Arrangement: Structuring the beat for potential vocal performance (intro, drop, hook, and switch-ups).

• Mixing and Mastering: Balancing elements for clarity and loudness while preserving the raw vibe.

This beat demonstrates my skills in music production, genre-specific composition, and digital audio workstation (DAW) proficiency. It reflects the fusion of cinematic influences and modern drill/trap production techniques.
