I really enjoyed this class – it was very concise and engaging, thank you :)

I've been experimenting with some other line-based illustrations for Chinese new year so I wanted to do something similar theme-wise (this made the process easier in terms of style!). I chose the number 8 as it represents good fortune and the same goes for the use of continuous circles.

I did start to do sketches on paper but found I was more productive when I went straight on to Illustrator and began chopping and changing different elements.
