Lovely cards

I enjoyed following along with this class and making some lovely greetings cards.

From the first lesson, I really liked how this came out, so after the birthday card I also made a more muted version as a condolence card:

Then I decided to switch up my colour scheme to purples and pink for the pop up card:

For lesson 3 and the stand-up card I went with soft autumnal shades … and then thought my leaves reminded me of fish, so also did a fishy version - perfect for my brother-in-law! For both of these, I used a leaf/ fish cutout as the prop (to make the card stay standing up!) And played around with the proportions of the standup portion a little.

And finally the banner card (hard to photograph because of the angle !!) This time I chose a congratulations theme and painted stars (though the stars don’t have the same “flowing” quality of either the leaves or fish):

All in all a satisfying piece of work (I did one lesson per day over a few days)
