What a fun and colorful painting! Did anyone else notice the heart created by the beaks of the two lovebirds? It's perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day—so sweet! Jane, your classes are wonderful for allowing the paint to flow and work its magic. As usual, my paint didn't flow quite as I wanted it to, but I continued painting swiftly and spontaneously, letting everything come together as it may. Aside from paying a little more attention to the eyes, I consciously avoided my habit of overdoing a painting, and I didn’t miss a thing. :)

On a fun side note related to this painting, my husband and I just celebrated our “first kiss” anniversary. Yes, that’s what we celebrate each year! It was 50 years ago on February 4th, and we both remember the details. It was a cold evening with a slight snowfall, and he had just walked me home. We were standing on our side porch. It was so romantic... Ahhhh...
