Hi Carmen, thank you so much for taking this class and for renewing your subscription again :) The three sunflowers still has a nice expressive feel to it but I do agree that working on 100% cotton paper makes a huge difference. Sometimes, what I do is I paint on cellulose paper for practice just as a warm up. And then I proceed to painting on 100% cotton paper :)

Beautifully done! This class is on my list of classes to do. I have two free months which seems like a lot but in reality it's not much. I look forward to taking this class.

Beautiful job Carmen, I started this class the other day but put it aside. The wash out at the end (on the single with blue) didn’t go well at all for me. You did a beautiful job. I agree, everytime I try and use a paper other than 100% arches, it doesn’t go well. I don’t even like to practice on anything less than, as I don’t feel I get the flow of the techniques. I sure wish it wasn’t so expensive, or at least went on sale so I could stock up. :)

Thank you Diana...You are on a roll with so many projects. I used to be like that then things just happen and I get lazy. Trying to get back into the habit. Yes i always used cellulose paper as the 100% cotton is expensive. I use the cellulose now for acrylic, just gesso over it or gouache or on w/c projects that seem simple. 
I check often on Amazon for the Arches. I buy the 9x12 and mostly cut in half. it can run from $18 to $23 so you have to keep checking.  You are doing so well with all your projects. I wish I had your enthusiam again. Happy Painting.

You will find it Carmen.  I have been trying to spend time in my art room daily.  I don’t always paint, somedays I spend mixing colors and making color charts.  I plan on using the 100% cotton just for watercolor, and all the other paper I own for acrylic and gouache.  I think I am going to try a few more acrylic paintings.  I wish skillshare had an open board for skillshare members to communicate with each other.  They seem to be more geared toward the teaching side of things as compared to the students.  Excellent teachers so I am not complaining, I just wish they had a better platform for students.  Cheers and here’s to you getting your grove back!  :)
