This is such a beautiful piece, Mari. Your ink work really stands out. It’s loose and expressive, but still feels confident and intentional, which is not always easy to balance. The lines add so much personality without taking away from the softness of the watercolor. I also love your color choices in the flowers. That warm blend in the petals with the deeper center creates such a lovely focal point, and it all works so nicely with the cooler tones in the leaves. You did a wonderful job letting the watercolor stay soft while using the ink to gently define and enhance. It’s a really nice combination, and it gives the whole piece a lot of life and character. Beautiful work. I really hope I get to see more of your work!
