Awesome, Noelia I  like both styles.  Both paintings express unique compositions with the same paint. I'm more drawn to the top painting.  I find that more water, allowing soft blending of the background, is calming.

Fantastic Noelia, both are wonderful. The sky blends beautifully into the trees, and the texture you created throughout adds great dimension.

They've both come out well although quite different with the two papers - i can't decide which I like best as I like the soft bleeding trees but then I also like the sharp feel in the other one. You do great skies.

Thanks, Ineke! It's quite unpredictable how certain elements will turn out when you work with wet surfaces. But for distant vegetation, this technique is really great because everything remains blurred, but at the same time, you can understand what the object is.

I agree with the distance painting, wet on wet.

Hi Nadine!! What a wonderful class!! I did two practice sessions: the first on Canson XL paper, 300 gsm, 100% cellulose, A4, and the second on White Nights paper, 70% cotton, 270 gsm, A5.
