I think your son has a good eye. The sheep would have been great without the glasses, but adding them makes them even more eye-catching. Your colors work very well.

I love both of them. I love your style of painting!! They don't look messy they look loose, and I strive to paint loose :) They look like they could be storybook illustrations :)

Awww, thank you for your kind comments! I always struggle with watercolour but determined not to give up on it!! I just bought a lovely little watercolour set (that I didn't need!!) and the colours are just beautiful! I was surprised as it was fairly cheap!

Where does the need come in when we are buying watercolor paint :) :) :) and good cheap paint is hard to come by. The price of watercolor paint amazes me!! Your paintings are beautiful!

Thank you!! Yes, just buy the paint, worry later!! This little set is portable, it's from Artecho (on Amazon) and it was £7.99 for the 18 colours ~ it does come in different sizes! I wondered if it would be a bit rubbish but quite the opposite!

Hi Joanne, great job on color blending. I love you style! Your inking is great and just the right touch, not too much, not too little. Good job on shading the underside of the sheep adding some dimension there. I hope we paint together again soon. Thanks for taking my class! Kerrie

I'm going to do them again, I think with maybe a sunset sky!
My son wants them to have glasses to make them 'cooler'!
It's very messy when I look at it now!! But it is what it is and watercolour always makes me very nervous hahaha!
Ok, so 2nd one added and I think I prefer the watercolour work on it!!
I think I need to face the fact that I'm never going to be a watercolourist!!!
