Fun project and I learned a lot!  Primarily, if I don’t like the line drawing, don’t bother to wash it -  I found that (unlike with acrylic) I simply could not improve the drawing with those transparent watercolors.  I drew this bird 18 times… I may try again with less graphite as that also limited what I could do with light control in the final washed painting…and the fact that the feet and branch are so…lacking in contrast….
