Hello, 

I dont have access to illustrator so I ended up looking for alternatives. Gladly found one. these patterns took me 3 days to complete from start to finish. I learned to create bitmaps, the difference b/w raster, bitmap, svg and png etc etc. But it was all worth it. I learned a lot. The manual painting phase is the most enjoyable and almost thrilling to do. Below are shots from the process:
