Initial thoughts:

I've thought about doing a contest before but it somehow seemed daunting. With Mother's Day coming up, I created some new digital art. I think a contest would be a good way to get some buzz around it and maybe increase my following. It may even increase the possibility of someone remembering my name or my work and in turn I might gain new clients.

I'm thinking of a digital prize so I won't have to deal with shipping and I can invite my international followers instead of keeping it local to Canada.

I'm a busy mom so for me this has to be easy. I'm not interested in the extra work to manually track for extra entries right now. Perhaps in the future.
