This was hand drawn and painted on Canson 140lb watercolor paper (not cotton)I joined this class to help me loose up with watercolours. I’m not sure why, but it appears very muted in this photo. It’s so much brighter in reality. If I was to start over, I would use better quality paper, less ink, and lighter washes to begin with. The use of the ink helped me loosen up as well as using a bigger brush than I usually do.
