First painting. This image reminds me of where I grew up in the midwest. Lots of fields and hay bales. 

Second painting in progress… From our vacation last year in Mexico. Going to add the boats in after I finish the background, but I'm struggling with the foreground. Something's not feeling quite right to me at the moment, but I haven't been able to pinpoint it. 

Looking at it now I think I need to adjust the depth of field. That horizon line needs to be the lightest part of the ocean.
