Journaling Lists

I started journaling in September of 2019.  Since beginning my journaling process, I've found a few things that I like to use when I journal.  The biggest thing is my pencil cases, which I love because they open at the top.  It makes it easy to find what I'm looking for (plus they have cute cats on them). You can get ones like mine here -- https://amzn.to/2BUKfak Journaling Lists - image 1 - student project My current journal is an A5 dot grid from Archer and Olive.  I chose this one because of the 160gsm paper.  It works amazingly well for watercolor washes, which I often like to add as background on my pages, tho next time I might buy a 120gsm journal and see how it holds up to those washes.  My pens are Pilot Precise v5 pens.  I like them for their thin line and variety of colors. Mine are the retractable version. I generally use prisma colored pencils and tombow markers, along with the occasional Micron marker for very fine colored writing. Silver, gold, and white uniball jelly pens are a new addition to my arsenal, and are great for little details.

I am always collecting little bits that I like out of magazines, saving old cards to use, and such.  I have a stash both at home and at the office, since these aren't as easy to carry around and I journal both places.

My list of things to journal about only takes up about half of a page so far, so I'll be adding things to the list as they pop into my head.

For this class, I did a journal page about the shows that my 3-year-old is currently watching.  It will be nice to look back one day and have these written down.
