Iris
Hello!
I am a huge Anna's art fan. She probably knows because I constantly stalk her on instagram :D
That's why when I saw she uploaded a new lesson, I jumped right into it!
I must admit that it was very hard to paint this Iris! It has so many folds, that I was getting lost a lot and couldn't understand how it's folded, so I know there are parts on the flower that look a bit off. Another challenge was using dioxide purple which stains heavily and just doesn't allow mistakes. But still, I am very happy how it turned out, and even more happy about the fact that I actually painted something - I haven't touched paints and brushes for a long time and finally I saw the inspiration :)
I love how Anna explained every step on the painting process and I especially loved the comparison photos of iris after each layer!
Thank you Anna for this class, I had so much fun!
P.S. Sorry for my English, it's not my first language
