Introduction au pixel art

Hello, James! Excellent work, I'm glad you're enjoying the course! :) I've only did some modifications to the characters:<a target="_blank" rel="noopener external nofollow" href="https://i.imgur.com/z4X7lcF.png">i.imgur.com/z4X7lcF.png</a> <a target="_blank" rel="noopener external nofollow" href="https://i.imgur.com/kxwfd6c.png">i.imgur.com/kxwfd6c.png</a> <a target="_blank" rel="noopener external nofollow" href="https://i.imgur.com/q70tMNE.gif">i.imgur.com/q70tMNE.gif</a>I've modified the colors of Saitama's head a bit to give it more shape, tried to create a transition between shadow and light with the other skin colors you got.I've shifted the hue of the yellow shadow colors to a more orange color (just preference, I think yellow shadows look unnatural.)I've added casted shadows (the cape with the body for example) from the body parts, this is really important to give more volume to your characters.I've toned down the red color as it was too strong.On Fry you had some conflicting light direction, the hair was lighten from above, while the legs were lighten from the right. I've removed some highlight colors, some times it's not necessary to have a highlight color (specially for things that are not shiny), you can get away with just a shadow color and base color.On the Scout, more of the same! I've also changed the gray colors to a more saturated color, I should've done the same on Saitama's cape, a little bit of hue can bring a lot more of *word for something good* to your artwork!Pretty good work, you can watch the rest of the course where we start doing more interesting stuff like game mockups, items sets, etc...!Have a nice day :)

I like what you have done with the shading. And I agree with your decision to use orange hue for Saitama.

I think the hardest part was trying to draw tiny details with so few pixels -- Fry's Slurm can!
