Hi Everyone!

Here is an example of the progress you can post throughout this course. A lot of this is included in the videos themselves but I wanted you to see it in project form too. Feedback, thoughts and comments are always welcome!

FILM

Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. This was one of my favorite films from 2014, and I think it lends itself to minimalist design very well. I'm going to try to take advantage of all of the openness of space in my design.

INSPIRATION

Here are some photos I pulled from for inspiration in my design. I decided that I wanted Saturn to be the focus of the design since it a) looks awesome, and b) plays a decent role in the film.

INITIAL DESIGN

Here's where I landed after messing around in Illustrator. I know there will be more elements in the final, but I want to create them inside of After Effects.

FINAL ANIMATION

Here's my final animation! I ended up changing the colors and composition a bit. The stars were much easier to create in After Effects using the repeater operator. I'm pretty happy with the result. Any comments/critisim is welcome. Thanks for looking!
