Insights into Isabel's Contract

Here is a copy of Isabel's contract with notations explaining different terms in the contract and why some terms might be written in a particular way.
This doc doesn't reveal any of the fixes to how the work, money, or rights are described (that's for you to do!) but it does provide some insight about why the contract is written the way it is.
For what it's worth, I don't think this is a very good contract for either party. In part because too much information is missing, but also because the writer prioritized form over function.
They've tried to make this "sound legal," but none of their flourishes are helping make the contract better. If I were reviewing this contract for a client I probably wouldn't "fix" the flourishes, but I would add information so that the flourishes don't distract from the job the contract needs to do.
