Inky floral practice

Your demo was so lovely and bright. Not mine but I consider this pratice attempt. I had bought these inks and never used. Not sure really if can reactivate but I used really cheap w/c paper and just played a bit from memory. Next time I will rewatch the class and paint along. I did add a bit of color with Zig clean color markers.

Will try again another day as i just found DrPH Martin India ink set in my stash. They probably more vibrant.

2nd try same cheap wc paper but used the PH Martin bombay inks. Not too thrilled as I did not give much thought to composition. I think i am using wrong brushes..so I added some oil pastels to break up the opaque look. Still going to post it.

I do think i have some acrylic inks i could too!

This is my last try #3.

I had some PH Martin Hydrus fine watercolor. They are very old and very strong smelling. Actually got them for free at a church rummage sale I was helping setup. Never really used as not sure how.

Anyway I tried to mimic Holly's brush strokes again but cant seem to master it but had fun playing around and of course not waiting for it to dry in between. Used some sepia micron pens

I think i can cut sections out to be prettier.
