I used my Hunt 100 nib and Speedball ink to ink Byron (the character I created in Building Character 1). He's drawn on the same sheet of paper that I used for the class tutorial, so you can see elements of that to the left. 

I drew him as one cohesive piece except for the shading beside his feet. When I go to color him (in the next class in the series) I'm not sure what kind of shading I'll want for the ground. Drawing the shading separately allows me to ability to easily remove it if I want to try something different.
