Thank you for this great lcourse. It is worth doping it!

This is my first piece in acrylics in this style. It was very interessting and I learned a lot. Although I am not happy with the tree, there are some elements in the picture I do like. After the acrylics part, I worked the tree over with pastel pencils. This improved it a bit, though I am still not really happy with it. The pastel lightened the whole mid- and foreground up, too much. Also the background tress got too prominent during the pastel application.

It is not that apparent in the original, but it is clearly visible on the photo. In order not to overwork it completly and mess it up even worse, I left it like this. I hope the lessons learned will help to improve my next painting.
