I love these Dawn! Such a great shape and beautifully textured. The bead is gorgeous too. But I do have to disagree - you can never see too much of Harrison Ford!

I had already sawn out the small shape from .45 sheet thinking it was feeling nicely sci-fi, and then decided they were too small, and needed something. I reckoned adding another larger shape would be good but hadn't thought of stacking and curving. I've used an impressart stamp for the texture (I don't recommend these, by the way!) and a dogstooth amethys is the drop.  Soldering an unevenly weighted, curved shape to another isn't easy; the first time I did it it tipped down on the heavier edge, and then I had to unsolder and resolder, and finally, trim a frackky off the hoop and remake it. The second earring worked perfectly though. (this photo is of the first one!) I used hard and easy solder. I really like hem, though I think I might trim the earwires rather than having them long and fixed, to make them into a component, for extra articulation. Great project Jo. thank you again.
